Place is family owned and it shows. The staff was kind and attentive and spoke English well enough to help us. We stayed for 10 days in the off season and absolutely loved it. The location is great, located in the dead center of downtown. It's a great spot for foodies since you have quite a great selection of mexican/cuban/etc restaurants right there on the strip. The room was clean and very reasonably priced. We're planning our second trip as I type and will be coming back to Bucaneros!

Pick up 6:00 hrs from Playa del Carmen and 7:00 hrs from Cancun at your hotel. Depart towards Puerto Juarez.
Boat trip to look for the whale sharks and snorkel with them.
Enjoy Bird watching, Dolphins, Mantas and even Marine Turtles.
Snorkel in a pristine coral reef enjoying unique species of the gulf and the Caribbean of Mexico.
At 12:00 hrs lunch on board
Return to Cancun. Arrival at 14:00 hrs. approximately.
